sex at 16 isn't allowed either...more importantly why can't you drink at 18 but you can die for your country at 18?

Again this depends on what country your in in the UK sex at 16 is OK, but porn at 18. there is a lot of difference between porn and sex. Sex can be wonderful, and a great expedience for both to enjoy many times, however porn can be very nasty, involving underage, bondage, and a lot worse which I will not say on this site, but some of which is fine when your old and mature enough to deal with it, if your not it can lead to a very upsetting life for you.

PS be careful what you read or look up the net, it's done for a reason, and a lot of kids will try and act all big about it and put you done. Remember there are a lot of different levels of porn, from soft porn which can include the sort of stuff you can get in a paper, or the very hard porn which you buy under the counter.
I believe each to there own, as long as your old enough, and are doing it with your own free will OK, and don't let all the religious nuts tell you that it's against God, religion is man made, and not God's true word. I'm not saying God would agree that porn is OK but it no big deal, between consenting adults.

Sex and porn are not the same things. I think that society would rather you referred to sex as making love whereas porn is really full blown sex. There is a difference between making love and having sex. Maybe society thinks that for porn you need to be a little older.Everyone matures differently and should explore their sexuality. There's nothing wrong with porn or sex. Just I guess there's a time and a place for everything. The law has to determine something but everyone decides when they feel ready.

Becuse the adults who made that law are complete idiots who think if you saw your self naked in the mirror your heart would explode...

Better still they think that despite if you and your girlfriend or better still if parents gave consent and you got married your husband or wife... had, had regular sex in all the positions and ways possible, seen each others bit loads of time in 'real-o-vision'

Saw yourselves doing it in the mirror you would be totally trumatised for life...

This is because they are utter thickos and mad and live in lala land due to dumb religion...

There is no sane reason for it other then its better to do it before you see it so you get the feeling side of things as well and learn that porn aint all that realistic.

For one the guys don't last 10 seconds... twenty if good :-) at your age and the reason for many of the positions (and big willies is to accomodate the camera, lighting and sound equipment to get those closups...

Likewise in the real world you want to use condoms and be on the pill as the videos miss out all the std tests, plus you tend to *** inside the girl...

Personally if doing it you should be able to see it... ideally make your own...

Oh I forgot... another dumb rule...

You can legally bone your girlfriend/boyfriend 100 times in many positions, suck them off etc etc...

But if you video yourselves, for yourselves thats illegal and the guy can get arrested and taken away from his loving girlfriend who will be very unhappy as the law does not take into account that its part of your love play and not exploiting minors even if you two are...

As said the law and grown ups are not worthy of that much respect... Only the sane ones.

Likewise things like vibrators for the girls... Females like things that vibrate like you guys like porn... Nothing wrong with it, they are just built that way, touch rather then visual... hence a lack of male strip joints or magazines except to gays.

Its just plane silly but they will come up with some moral rubbish based in the invisible god or that you are sweet an innocent despite having gone through the karma sutra twice.

That's funny - I'd never thought of that! Laws often make little sense - why can you join the army and die for your country at 18 and in the USA you can't drink alcohol until you're 21! OK, you can make the decision to die at 18, but can't drink??? Which is the more momentous of those decisions?

Sex at 16 is allowed in most countries, even marriage without parental consent in some places.

Because the laws in this country are crazy, everything should be at 18 not all over the place as it is now, I find it strange you can be in control of a car at 17 but cannot drink until you are 18?!

you shold read the Laws regarding adult movies. Porn is not sex. it is highly paid professionals faking sex :).
Because it is considered entertainment and because most people agree it is not healthy to watch these movies at a young age (because you re not balanced emotionally and sexually till you are close to 18 or so).

If you're asking this question from a religious point of view, i'd say you shouldn't watch porn at all(although i somtimes struggle with it),and you shouldn't have sex outside of marriage.
Read your Bible if you want to know what God say's.
