I wish I could have seen the entire episode. But from what I saw, no, belief did not make her insane. It seems to me that she had a distorted Christian view in the first place and became obsessed with it for at least a time. I feel sorry for the poor woman. I can only hope she's come to terms with her experience and found peace in her soul.

Oh I saw that show!!! It was a riot - that was Trading Spouses. I hope you got to see the whole show as it was a total riot. This part was the end of that one when she came home. She was crazy through the whole thing though.

I wouldnt say that belief MADE her insane, she was insane to begin with. The belief is simply her outlet for her insanity.
Either way, she needs help.

We don't get this in the UK but I wish we did! I nearly fell off my chair laughing when in the midst of all the screaming about dark sidedness her husband said "I'm glad you're home".
Pity the young girl having to witness that, though.

I actually saw this episode. The funny thing is, is that her friends looks somewhat normal! But if you did see it, you notice that they are all VERY judgemental of the new mom. Not very "christian" like!

That is one of the scariest things I have ever seen. I will have nightmares for weeks about some crazy woman chasing me yelling "DARK SIDED! DARK SIDED!"
