where do i get financial help to study abroad?

Here is a wonderful site that not only includes information about various study abroad programs but also about financial aid for those programs (scroll down a bit): http://www.finaid.org/otheraid/exchange.phtml . Some non-US schools also offer their own financial aid, so it's well worth asking them. I can think of a number of students who have easily acquired enough financial aid to cover the entire degree that they acquired overseas.

Depending on where you're living now, and where you wanna go. You could check on the ministry of education for the country you wish to go,, several countries have those international students scholarships,, or you could check on the internet for independent organisations like finaid.org,, good luck though!

Try writing to Bill Gates's Foundation. Maybe they can throw some dough your way, eh?
