If you don't believe that is your choice, but why speak bad about Him when others say they do believe in Him?

Taking an analogy,we may choose not to believe that the sun has risen when it's light and heat is bathing the earth;but that won't stop the sun carrying on it's course as ordained!
One may therefore not believe in God but that does not conclude His absence.Ignorance they say is no defence: so why speak bad of Him and have yourself in trouble? If you don't believe in Him, just leave it there without taking it any further.Prevention is better than cure;and in some cases, the cure may not be possible. Someone said,"the wise see danger ahead and take cover;but the unwise go on right ahead and are destroyed"
Consider it carefully therefore. Thanks

Well first of all God is not a "him" or a "her". That is personifying a spiritual energy that isn't human.

I talk bad about the God of the Bible all the time because, you see I don't believe that kind of God that murders people and gives them diseases and wipes out civilizations and so forth. Or the one that sends his kid to earth to live and then die, pretty much like everyone else, and then makes a big deal of it.

I try to show some respect but also encourage people to see the absurdities in the God of the Bible.

The only real "God" if you insist, is within us all. If we speak bad about ourselves, we have defiled God.

Spending my finished existence committed to an invisible magician interior the sky, hoping that he's the "stunning" magician would not look particularly perfect. Christianity is lots from the 1st faith to have a deity, who's to assert they are stunning? The previous, till now sacred thoughts of the Greek, Roman, Mesopotamian "gods" are basically seen relaxing myths in the present day. How is present day-day religious dogma any diverse?

You mean: "WHETHER" you believe.?

Yes I do think it's OK.

It's not a choice. Could you chose to believe in Santa Clause?

I don't think we need to be respectful toward imaginary beings.

The main thing we say is we don't see how he could exist.

Would it be better to be hypocritical; pretend to believe?

People have faith in God. but I have faith in my parents. My parents are my god,so i never prefer that anyone could speak bad about my god. However, its people choice that weather they love their god or hate, to speak bad or good. We cannot interfere.

I don't think anyone should speak bad about Him because no one knows for sure, and rather play it safe than sorry.

Don't speak bad about anybody!

Anyways, with relation to God - what you and i say, can adds or subtracts nothing from Him who is above everything.

It is never OK to use God's name in disrespect or in vain. The Ten Commandments specifically say "You shall not take the name of the Lord in vain, for the Lord will not leave him unpunished who takes His mane in vain".

Nope not OK.

God has feelings too.

A Father that loves His children and most of them reject and criticize Him.

I think God ought to enact BTBS.
