if ur puter is pII or less then 98 is good
and if it is pIII or more with good ram then go for xp with service pack 2
in normal comparison xp is better then 98, but on slow computers xp would be reaaaaaallly slow

Obviously XP as it is an improved version of '98, just as '98 was as improvement of '95

98 isn't even supported by Microsoft or the rest of the industry anymore, so go with XP.

98 is very old and without any best features so go with XP always better.

it really depends on the pc you own.. if your pc cant handle the graphics engine and u don't have the memory then win98SE is your answer.. if you have up to date equipment.. then XP but if your looking to upgrade.. build your pc for windows vista... it'll be here soon and off course they will stop supporting XP like they did 98...
