He didn't exist. The scriptures however mention his mythical temptation by the devil :
Matthew 4:8 and Luke 4:5 describe how Satan took Jesus up to the top of a very high mountain and showed him "...all the kingdoms of the world..."
2 Samuel 22:16, Psalms 104:5, Job 38:4 and Zechariah 12:1 all refers to the "foundation(s) of the earth" or "foundations of the world." Job 9:6, Job 26:11 refer to the "pillars" of heaven and of earth trembling. 1 Samuel 2:8 states explicitly that the "pillars of the earth are the Lord's, and he hath set the world upon them." Religious liberals generally interpret these as identical to the pillars that the surrounding Pagan nations believed supported the earth.
It's all tosh anyway. Who cares about or believes any of it?
"The more I study religions, the more I am convinced that man never worshipped anything but himself." -- Sir Richard Burton

Would it feel more like the truth if he did? Christopher Columbus sailed the ocean blue in 1492. Long after the whole jesus scene went down. I'm guessing he would have told the folks trying to convince Chris that it was flat, otherwise. Maybe he only told Chris and that is why he decided to go the other way to get to India. Who knows. We know that is round because the satellite pictures and the horizon tell us so. What difference does it make if jesus made that revelation or not?

Not in so many words. I recall the bible mentions the earth hung in space, or on nothing. Indicating it is round. There is a discussion about it being round before ships found it to be that way.

Jesus? Use your brain for just a few seconds.
If Jesus died, he could NOT have been God.
Do Gods die? Do they?
If Jesus 'died' on Friday and 'undied' on Sunday, what else besides a few hours was sacrificed?
What's the BIG deal?
David Blaine can do that on TV.
Why be a Christian who has to accept this type of thinking?

as i recall, jesus didn't have an opinion about the shape of the earth. he was too concerned about what *ssholes we are to each other. and that is a noble concern.
