There is no diagnosis of hypothyroid or anemia. Body temp is always 97.7 no matter what thermometer is used.

So you are about one degree less than average. Do you FEEL cold? Need to wear extra clothing?
If not, "don't sweat it." :-)

Try to improve circulation by more exercise, and warm-to-hot baths. Maybe take an iron pill, or eat more red meat to be sure your iron is up.

Do you bleed heavily during your menses? You might lack iron.

Also, alcohol and tobacco are bad for circulation, so give them up if you indulge in them.

Low blood sugar I unfortunately am a victim of being cold all the time (even in summer). Have your blood sugar checked. And try to eat 6 X a day small meals of course. It will help.

body temperature is an average. that means that some are above, some are below. you are within normal range of body temperature. temperature is controlled by your brainstem and metabolism. if you want ot raise it, increase your physical activity. it will go back down as soon as you stop and rest.
