Most world religions have been around long enough to have had a long look at themselves and have a reformation from within. If Islam has done this, when did they do it?

Of course I'm sure every religion thought it wasn't subject to reform until it felt the stirrings within and discovered that the members of the religion were dissatisfied with some of its aspects. This was a good, healthy thing to do, like cleaning house.

the Quran is not like the Bible of today. no one is allowed to reform, or edit, or change the words of the Quran.
and again. Islam has been misunderstood. it's a problem when a religious man is ignorant of the laws of his religion.
