firstly, you dont get AIDS you get HIV, which is the virus that causes AIDS. for HIV to become aids it takes about 9 to 10 years.
secondly i think answers to french kissing was good enough (especially the one by scorpio_draconis, which i will repeat)
"Yes, and no. It depends on the given circumstances. AIDS is a "Blood-transferred" disease, not saliva. However, if one who is infected has an open sore/ canker/ cold sore in his/her mouth, it is possible (Although extremely improbable) that they can transmit the disease that way. "
but ill add that the chances are greater if both sides have a sore/cut/open wound etc.
now onto oral sex (or licking as you put it)
according to a study in the US (http://www.cdc.gov/mmwr/preview/mmwrhtml/rr5402a1.htm)
chances of catching HIV is one in ten thousand (1/10,000) if you are performing oral sex on someone else, and one in twenty thousand (1/20,000) if somebody is performing oral sex on you (either case the person who receives oral sex, rather than performing it, is a male. so there are no "official" figures for performing oral sex on a vagina)
in short, yes you can catch HIV from both french kissing and oral sex (performing or receiving) which may eventually develop into AIDS.

salava has no aids carrying capabilities - the only
way that french kissing could possibly pass the disease to another is by a bleeding in the mouth.
in this way blood is transfered from one to another.
therefore aids can be spread.
same goes for spreading it by licking genitalia.
there must be blood to blood contact.

AIDS is spread through the exchange of bodily fluids with an infected person. So yes I would say oral sex is a risk. However, through kissing, only if you or your partner has a cut could the virus spread.

Yes. It is a very real risk with oral sex.
It's theoretically possible, but highly unlikely, with French kissing. Saliva alone almost certainly will not transmit it, but there is a risk if the infected partner has a cut or sore in the mouth.

I do! My fiance and I were on our first 'real' date after we'd been hanging around each other for a few weeks. We went for dinner, then back to my apartment to see if there was a movie we wanted to go to. We ended up chatting together on my couch for two more hours. Then we swapped glasses to see how strong each others' prescriptions were. He said he had to go because he had to work early the next day. Then he started the 'lean in' thing, and I was SUPER nervous because I really liked him, so I said "Is this the part where you kiss me?" Then we both cracked up laughing so hard that it was another five minutes before we actually DID kiss. After that kiss, I knew he was the man I was going to marry. I've NEVER been kissed like that. To this day, four years later, he still catches me off guard with a kiss that make my stomach dance and my heart pound. We also have an awesome "how we met" story. He is a musician, and I thought he was really cute up on stage playing his sax. I wanted to meet him, but my friend wanted to leave before his break so I wasn't able to talk to him. So I wrote "Sax player - email me" on the back of a business card and put it in his tip jar! And he DID email me!!

Aids is spread by fluids mixing...if a person with aids is bleeding and you touch the blood, as long as you dont have a cut or a sore or any form of opening in your skin, you will NOT catch it..
If fluid from an affected person combines with your fluid...ie, blood, semen, saliva...you COULD get it.

Yes to both. You can never know where there will be live blood that you don't even notice and that is how aids is most easily spread.

AIDS is spread through an exchange of blood and body fluid so you need to take precautions.
