If the answer is "yes", then you are not any better than those who strapped strapped themselves with bomb who killed as many innocent people as they could in the name of God.

OK, you're not like suicide bombers, so you don't kill for God but what about Moses? God asked Moses to kill babies, poor animals and accepted by the Bible. What do you have to say about that?

Yes, but then my God would not ever want anyone to kill in His name, He is a God of love. Would I die rather than deny Him? Certainly, I just hope I'm not ever called on to do it.

Incidentally, my boyfriend was injured in 7/7, worse than that, he is suffering from severe Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, what those bombers did, was not about any God, but about hate and dissatisfaction and corruption.

Now about that time Herod the king stretched out his hand to harass some from the church. 2 Then he killed James the brother of John with the sword. 3 And because he saw that it pleased the Jews, he proceeded further to seize Peter also.

Yes, I would rather die for my God than anyone elses.Plus we all have to die at some point. If and when that time comes. If you are not serving God than you are seving satan.I would rather go to God than him.One of these days you all will come to realize that belief in Jesus Christ was the right way but by then it will be too late.

Some do every day, and I would like to believe I would. But noone will know until their time arrives.
Let me depart a story:
Over in Asia they were holding a secret church service. As the service began, some of the guards bust through the door with guns.
They grabbed one of the bibles and through it on the ground saying: "We will let you live if you get down on your knees and spit on this Bible."
The Pastor went first, whispering "Please Forgive me Jesus" as he spit. The guards let him go.
A woman came up, barely spit-but enough so some of it got on the bible, and was allowed to leave.
Then, a 16-year-old girl came up, got onto her knees, picked up the Bible and wiped the spit off. She whispered "Lord forgive them." And a couple seconds later one of the guards pulled the trigger on their gun.
The bible is also full of martyrs. There are many wose faith is not strong enough. But many also die every day.

Yes, but understand, dying for my God I would do, Killing for my God I would not because my God would not ask it in the first place. You speak of 2 different things.

Plenty of Christians have and continue to be.

They are different from suicide bombers because they choose to kill themselves and others around them, and Christians are killed by someone else and don't try to take others with them.

Christians believe in a good and merciful God. The purpose of a Christian's life is to do unto others as we would have them do unto us. Life is a gift and sacred. Our God does not require that we die for Him - but rather that we live for Him.

You are about one of the biggest nuts there is. If this same God that we Christians serve had not died on the cross for you also chances are you wouldn't be here putting your insulting questions on Yahoo Answers. Out of love Jesus died to save even nuts like you.

All of us christians who keep the commandments of God and His seventh day Sabbath, will likely soon get the chance to lay down our lives for what we beleive in. I'm not going to dwell on unpleasant thoughts like that though.
