For those whom like to call people stupid or think they know it all....it was the result of a rape and the person has only been raped and never actually had an intimate relationship before so they dont know that much.
to those who answered and didnt insult people just for asking questions.....thank you.
the rest........i feel sorry for you when you have to insult others to make yourself feel better.
blessed be

You should call your doctor's office for an appointment. I happen to come from a family of very fertile women, I get pregnant very easily. I got pregnant while on birth control pills (I know how to use them properly..never missed a pill and took them the same time every day, and I was not on any antibiotics or anything that would have decreased potency) but people still told me that would be impossible...my doctor told me otherwise.
I have had similar circumstances myself, but the only way you will know for sure is if you go to your doctor.
Good luck!

there is a high risk especially if your pd. cut off early. the week before your period starts is your ovulation period which is the time that an egg is in the womb waiting to be fertilized. You're gonna have to wait at least a month to see if a normal pd. shows up again or take a pregnancy test about 3 weeks after your pd. ends. any sooner and it'll just show up negative. This happened to me. I forgot to take the pill 4 days straight in which that time i had sex. my period still came as its supposed to whenever you get off the pill enough time for the hormones to leave the system and your body will start its pd on its own. but if the eggis still there it can still be fertilized. Good luck though.

I doubt that a pregnancy would result if the menstrual cycle is normal or regular. If her period was 28 days, then day 14 would be ovulation, and fertile times are day 11 through 17. The sex occurred on day 25 of the menstrual cycle so NO pregnancy would occur! Now that's assuming a normal cycle of 28 days. That's how it would occur and there really is predictability if one is aware of the cycle, if she is in doubt, about her cycle, go to the OB/GYN Doc and have a check-up and ask them to calculate the odds of pregnancy. It is not a mystery to any Doctor, ask for help, your Doctor won't laugh but will help, I know that for a fact, I'm a Doctor.

These people should not have insulted you. Trust me, it's perfectly normal to be asking questions, especially if you're scared or worried. By all means, take a test or go to the doctor. Sometimes, women bleed throughout pregnancy with no explanation. When I was 3 mos. pregnant with my 2 year old, I bled for 4 days. There were no problems, just bleeding. I took 3 days bed rest, she was born just fine, healty as a horse and beautiful as anything.
For all of you who were rude, shame on you. This could be a serious concern for this woman, and you all making her feel stupid is wrong.

It is very highly unlikely. Ovulation usually occurs 12-14 days before the start of your period, and eggs tend to be fertile only the first day or two after ovulation. You get pregnant when a sperm meets the fertile egg. A period results when the egg has not been fertilized, and the body gets rid of it. Only a few women have periods throughout their pregnancy, it is very rare.

I would say no, but that is only a guess. The uterine wall, which is what is shed during your period, is what holds the fertilized egg. I would think that once the egg made its way to the uterus the lining has already been shed and has not yet prepared for an egg...BUT stranger things have happened so give it a week and take a home test!

My best friend had "break thru" Bleeding throughout pregnancy, you should be tested for pregnancy and STDs and for God's sakes TAKE A DAMNED SEX ED CLASS, and get on some form of birth control or abstain. If you do not know the answer to this question you SHOULD NOT be having sex!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is really unlikely that you would be pregnant. Having a period is a shedding of the uterine walls, where an egg would implant, so go ahead and sigh with relief.

The chances are very very slim. Woman ovulate 14 days after the first day of their period. Chances are you ovulated about 1 1/2 - 2 weeks ago. If you got your period, then definately don't worry. If you're not wanting to become pregnant.. please use protection. God Bless
