Fruits, salads, cool tortillas, etc. Bread and rolls are nice too, and always drink plenty of water. Avoid alcohol, as that just dries out your body and makes you unhealthy. Of course, if you're going to Mazatlan, be careful of those fruits and salads or you might get sick. Make sure you wash and purify your fruits and veggies and avoid fruits with soft outsides (like strawberries) or are hard to clean (like lettuce). Otherwise you'll spend most of your time in the john with a big roll of toilet paper.

Watermelon sounds perfect, soooo refreshing! I imagine relaxing on a back porch spitting out the seeds like someone said - bliss!

If you're asking about a meal idea, I'd say a dinner salad. Some cold meat or egg white, rice or chunks of potato, veggies, whatever dressing you like, all served cold. Accompany it with a drink that has ice in it, doesn't matter what kind of drink it is. Or you could just serve water. Whatever, as long as it has ice on a hot day.

People traditionally eat hot, spicy foods in hot humid places as the perspiration helps cool you off. Plus, if your tongue is on fire, then you won't feel so hot everywhere else!
