Hmm, Loy Kee Chicken rice was reputed to have the best Hainanese chicken rice in Singapore for several years in a row. You should try it out.

Unfortunately the franchise itself seemed to have almost disappeared and now you can only find some Loy Kee Chicken rice shops hidden in the heartland hawker centres deep in the local mish-mash of shops and shopping centres and HDB flats and town centres.

I do remember that there was a Loy Kee at Clementi, right next to the back entrance of where this mega giant bookstore is, called "The Big Bookshop".
You can take an MRT there to Clementi, get down, ask a local if he knows where "THe Big Bookshop" is. It's in a large building located where a local supermarket called NTUC is.
Just ask where's the hawker centre near Big Bookshop and walk straight to the back of the building, the hawker centre is right smack over there.

Another easier option is just to go Holland Village, right in front of the Windmill foodcourt (just refer to it by name when asking) is a popular chicken rice store that also sells great noodle dishes.

However, I'd still put my bet on Loy Kee, it's got years and years of experience and lots of local thumbs up and accreditation's.
