How about Ananda Bhavan ? Singapore's oldest vegetarian restaurant. The menu is pretty wide.

Depends on where you are. Out here in California, the best deals tend to be in asian restaurants like Chinese, Vietnamese, and Thai. There are also some good deals at Indian restaurants. One near my house does a vegetarian buffet every Tues. Also mexican can be good and cheap, but watch out for lard used in the beans, and cheese.

Difficult. You don't get many working class vegans. The restaraunts that cater to such annoyingly fussy eaters are usually aimed at yuppies. The food is usually high in preparation time too, so finding cheap exclusively vegan restaraunts is difficult. Thank god.
