I hate to say it, but really you do need to tell your partner. It isn't an easy to do, but it should be done. Here are some tips - Most importantly, make sure you are safe (meaning you know that your partner won't fly off the handle and hurt you) when you go to tell them. Also, be as honest and open with your partner as possible. It's a difficult thing to do, but it is really a good idea to tell them. One more thing - some states have groups/organizations that help with partner notification. I would talk to your doctor or health department to see if there are any groups like that around you.

You need to tell him right away. I don't see why you should continue keeping this from him/her as a secret. Its not fair to your partner to not know your status and see proof of your status. Just telling your partner is not enough, you have to also show proof.
The reason why so many people are getting infected with this nasty virus is because people who are positive are not HONEST with their negative partners.
You need to be honest and straight-forward. Or else by law, you could be labeled a murderer.

You need to tell him right away u should have told him in the beginning as soon as u knew u were going to be together. it is nothing to joke with and i feel sorry for you because u have to deal with this. but you have to tell him right now. make sure someone is in the house with u when u tell him in case he snaps out and tries doing something to you because if someone told me that they had aids and kept it from me i would be snapping. and u can not blame the guy when he gets mad and leaves and does not want to see you anymore u got a deth sentice and im sorry but u are going to have to deal with it the best way you can. to save urself all the heart ake that u are going to go threw dating people and having to tell them and have them run off why not try the std website for dating there is plenty of people on there with aids that are looking for love. because they are having the same problems as you.

Basically, you shoulda been told him. That was unfair and selfish to not give him a choice in the matter. Not that I understand how it feels to be in your shoes, but that's common courtesy. And if you infected him, you could be arrested for attempted murder or something like that. It was not your call to put his life in your predicament. But I guess you were afraid that he wouldn't want to be with you if he knew. You need to tell him as soon as possible. I hope things turn out well for you. Be good to yourself and stay healthy.

Just tell your partner. There is no easy or graceful way to do this, and your partner needs to know in order to make informed decisions.

The best way is to just come out and tell him. I hope you haven't had unprotected sex with this person. In the state I reside in you can be charged with attempted murder if you withhold this information intentionally and have unprotected sex!

Dang...You need to tell him ASAP!!! He has a right to know. I have herpes and it is hard for me to tell but I do. Sometimes they stay and sometimes they don't. This is your life now. It sucks, but they need to know what they are dealing with from the start. You need to tell him. Hopefully you have not had sex yet or he will really be pissed. I know I would be. That is putting his life in danger.

You are required by law to tell him! Once you are diagnosed you are legally obligated 'fess up. If you can't tell him yourself you should contact your local health department for help with "partner notification". Just do it soon.

Be brave and tell him, just say "I hope you don't stop loving me for this, but I am HIV positive". He will be shocked no matter how you say it, but if he really loves you, it will pass.

You should have informed him long before now, if fact in some States that is the law. He may find it hard to trust you again.
