I have eaten vegan haggis, which is much less scary than trying real haggis. There are some great brands on the market in the UK. My friends (who have eaten real haggis) say that it's really quite a bit like real haggis. I have a recipe that I use that's from the Scotsman. I have a 'burns supper' for my friends every year, even though several of them have never been to Scotland.

It's ... um ... OK!
Do you like the taste of Liver? Just like liver, there are ways to make it edible - and then, well, um, ick. It's all in how it's prepared.
If it's served up like mashed potatoes - I'll pass.
But if it's been boiled, and then the meat has been pan fried (like ground hamburger meat) I'm OK with it. Seasonings help!!
Bottom Line, though - I'd rather have a corn-dog! ;-)
