Herpes is a virus, it will stay with you the rest of your life. There is no "cure" there is only medication that can suppress the virus. The medication can be taken daily or just when the person is having an outbreak. But no, it can't be cured.

NO, and did you know that 98% of the human population has herpes simplex
98%
It's not curable but it is treatable. Now then, a good treatment for it is Cloves. A spice you can buy from a supermarket/store in the herbal/spice section
One of my daughters used to get a lot and we brew about 10 clove pods into a little boiling water. Once brewed the potion keeps indefinately as long as covered as it evaporates. If catch the coldsore (herpes simplex) as soon as you feel the tingle it will prevent it from breaking out. If you have a blistered coldsore burst the bubble and dowse with cloves. Hold on the sore for a while-it totally dries it out, and the virus of herpes absolutely hates it.
Actually I have done many home tests with this brew and the virus will burst from the body if drink it when the virus is active within you.
It is a sleeping virus within us all and when the immune system has been knocked down especially by another illness like flu it can break out, some are more prone to it than others.
The micro-organism of the herpes virus incubates in the mucous of the body, so again if one gets a runny nose and they are prone to it it can be when the virus breaks out

It is not curable.
Youcan take medicine that lowers the risk of outbreaks, lowers the risk of transmitting the virus to others, and decresaes the symptoms of herpes when you have it. But no, it is not curable.
(the medicine is acyclovir or valtrax)
