鼈鍋 (suppon-nabe) is the name of the Japanese snapping turtle stew that you might find in a restaurant.
(Don't be put off by the fact that the general term for turtles and tortoises is kame / かめ / 亀 !! That term is too general for this meal's name!!)

So,
Suppon-nabe wo kudasai
They would ask how many people it was for, because it's not the sort of cuisine that's normally served for one person! It's a 'group' type food!
2 = Ni-nin mae onegai-shimasu.

3 = San-nin mae onegai-shimasu.

4 = Yo-nin mae onegai-shimasu.

My Japanese husband pointed out the fact that it's not an easy dish to find! And there's also the option of 'suppon SOUP'! Pronounced 'suupu', it's so obvious that it doesn't require an explanation!!
