Should nonbelievers, skeptics, and atheists simply sit down and shut up lest the poor, sensitive Christians feel offended that anyone would dare challenge or criticize their beliefs? There has been an increasing number of people, including some prominent liberal pundits, who have basically been calling for that to happen. They want more Christians to vote for Democratic candidates and think that the presence of vocal atheists is too off-putting.

I had a hard time deciding who should get this one, because I am an atheist and I don't agree with doll face. I could care less you you are a christian. I don't like the fact that you people slam it down our throats.

Hi Flower !Has any Atheist ever approached U and tried to make a nonbeliever out of U?Christians have been converting people to their faith for two thousand years. They have conquered, killed, looted & burnt in that onslaught(calling it spreading the word of God !?!).Now U tell me who needs to shut up & sit down.
Christians get upset at drop of the hat. They have to have their "ten coomandments"everywhere in front of them, lest they may forget to observe some of the most basic duties expected of a civilized human being.
I firmly believe that if Christians & Muslims stop taking the responsibility for the salvation of the rest of the people (i.e.Heathens/Kafirs)of this world;then most of the wars will be stopped.Terrorrism will completely disappear. And by the way they will have more room in their Heaven for themselves!!!

Atheists and liberals are always offended at anything Christians do or believe. They are just shocked now that we Christians are starting to stand up for our rights. Maybe you should go where there are no Christians in positions of authority, mmm any Muslim nation would do. They will only kill the people they disagree with. The Communist Soviet Union kept all the Christian values suppressed. That was a very nice place and time to live. They still haven't gotten over it. You aren't intolerant of Christians, are you?.

pls. do no sympathise that Christians are poor, sensitive. As it is offending for the Christians when criticized or challenged same is for Atheists for also. It's was of mind control. Who ever have the greater mind control they will emerge victorious. Think several times on each of the sentense. You will be able to find what shd. be course of action for Atheists or Christians.

Should Christians shut up and stop upsetting non-believers?
No. Everyone has a right to say what they want, as long as they're not hurting people or discriminating.

You know, it's funny., They call themselves atheists and answer questions for spiritual matters the things they do not see and try their best denounce it. Maybe we should ask Yahoo to open an atheist section so they can converse their so called intellectual discussions and leave us alone :-) After all, atheism is based on faith as well. noone has perfect knowledge except God.

Their attacks just strengthen the case for Christ. It supports Scripture when it says that the world will hate us because of Christ. Do you see any unbelievers blasting witchcraft? Nope! Buddhism? Nope! Hinduism? Nope! Islam? Gets far less than half the fire we do.

Absolutely not. I myself am a Christian, but everyone is entitled to his own opinion. I do think that it is important, no matter what the view, to not be too pushy with one's opinion

I think people try to get an uprising...they don't really care about how christians feel. They just like to see us get upset that someone is being so rediculous about something we dedicate our entire life to... sad when you think about it... really
