Its probably discharge. Its ok. Everyone female has it once in their life. Sometimes early. Sometimes late. But use any kind of vaginal cream that says anything like 'getting rid of discharge' or something with a such phrase.

I would suggest taking mom to the doctor. If it is an infection she will probably need antibiotics.
You never want to use an old prescription on someone other than the person it was prescribed for. You only want to use that medication at the time it was prescribed. Say the doc gave you some meds and you took them and your infection cleard up so you discontinued use of the meds. Even if you got sick again, with the same symptoms it could be something different. Since each bacteria responds differently to different meds it is important to see the doc and get the proper meds each time you use them. Also it is important to use prescribed medications for the full time the doc tells you to because if you only use the meds until your symptoms clear the bug could still be in your body. If this is the case, and you were to "relapse" that bacteria will have some resistance to that medication.

Yellow is infection and green is infection with blood in it. Call a doctor! Your mother should be treated by a doctor not something you have laying around the house.

Don't try to use any previous medications on your mother. Have your sister take her to the hospital or at least the doctors office.
I'm not there to know but it's never good to see those colors, it could be a very serious condition Good Luck :-(

Terazol 7 (terconazole) is indicated fir vulvovaginal candidiasis. The drug should only be used fir this condition...otherwise it may not be effective. If used vaginally, be sure to insert drug high in the vagina; watch fir possible chills, fever, or other flu-like sx. to develop--indicating a hypersensitivity to the drug, then stop giving it.U/R correct in thinking, usually candidiasis emits a yellowish discharge

Ask a doctor...it sounds like a yeast infection, but can't be sure. Does she itch, smell, is the area red? If so, it's most likely a yeast infection. Just be careful, cuz (this is personal!) but I had one once and I used one of those creams and it burned the hel* out of me!!! I ended up taking a pill and it cleared up in no time.

Has she been to the doctor? It could be chlamydia or gonorrhea (both curable). They have symptoms of discharge. The medicine you have is for yeast infections. Overall you mom should see a doctor and he can diagnose and treat with the proper medicine.

Take her to a gynecologist. It isn't good to try to treat things like that at home. Could be a sign of something else wrong.
