Amen. I live in Ohio now, and every time I go back home, my first stop is La Heurta for some good ole Mexican food - even before I go to my mom's house (she's always happy to meet me there).
Yankee mexican sucks.

I think the authenticity of Mexican food outside of the Southwest is definitely way lower. But there are some pretty phony Mexican restaurants even way down in Southern California, and look at how close it is to Mexico!
I mean of course most restaurants tone it down because many people couldn't handle Mexico's take on spiciness, but some places are just so fake!
By the way, I love the salsa too!

I know for a fact the best and most authentic Mexican food is found outside the SW U.S.A. It's in Mexico. Also the best Chnese food in the SW U.S.A. is in Mexico; Shangrilá in Ciudad Juárez.

Mexico uses very different styles of cooking compared to some of the hispanic communities in colorado for instance. I have had some of the best food in colorado. Now I am in Las Vegas where there is more of a mexico influance. And the food is totaly different. People from mexico don't like their food as hot. and they don't use their chili as a sauce to cover most of their meals. and their primary tortilla is the corn where in colorado the main one is flour. So as they are very different it just depends on you taste. I still love the hot stuff myself. Jabanero all the way....

Mexican restaurants are proliferating all over the US due to the influx of Mexicans.
I can now get great Mexican food in Chattanooga that I used to have to be in El Paso or Juarez to get.
I love Mexican and Tex-Mex food.

I knew a man named Emilio, in michigan, that cooked the best Mexican food I ever had, in Mexico, or out of Mexico. Sadly he passed on two years ago. But, did you know that the further south you go in Mexico, the foods change, like in Italy, different regions different foods.

i do not. I merely tip those who're providing a luxurious service. Like eating position/bar servers, hairstylists, estheticians, the guy that pumps your gas.. If I order takeout from a sit down eating position then I tip because i comprehend the server has to tip out the kitchen for the foodstuff. yet i do not tip at Starbucks or quickly foodstuff places.

I've been to Guaymos Mexico, and their way of cooking is like nothing I've had in the U.S. Never once had cheddar cheese on anything down there. They don't use ground beef, they use flank steak or skirt steak.

Probably the same as Chineese outside Asia. Close but not the real deal.
