Anchovies? No, I don't. Anchovies are fishes, right? I'm a vegetarian. But it is interesting to know that anchovies are used commercially in animal meal, oil, and fertilizer and also that, some species are filleted, salted, packed in oil, and sold as a delicacy. Yummy!

Most people eat a lot of Anchovies and don't even know it. It is the secret in many chef's dishes that nobody can quite figure out. It is in Green Goddess salad dressing. It is in as a primary flavoring in Worcestershire sauce, not to mention a ingredient in a ceaser salad.
The Anchovy is such a powerful ingredient that it now comes in a tube that the cook just squirts out a little for the dish- think a small amount of toothpaste.
The filet's are sold in stores- either rolled up, like slices or the paste like I just mentioned.
Most people are scared to eat them as they are really fishy and really salty. I myself keep a few around to throw in stews, sauces and other things.

Yes, for a long time I wouldn't touch them. One day I had a caesar salad with anchovies and it was quite delicious.

the idea disgusts me but i found out by mistake that i eat them almost all of the time indirectly! did u know that they use anchovies in cheese dips??!!
