Yes it is definitely possible. Children and infants can also have "heart attacks" if the conditions are right, usually a congenital reason in children though. Fatal heart attacks are happening to a younger and younger population. During World War II autopsies were done on the soldiers and it was found that they were for the most part free of heart disease. More recently autopsies reveal that many young men in the same age group have advanced heart disease. This is believed to be the result of the poor diet we consume today for example too much McDonald nonsense not to mention a lack of exercise. Smoking and drugs are also contributing factors. Some studies believe that this generation is actually less healthy and will have a shorter lifespan than the baby boomers. Kind of sad I think considering the advances modern medicine has made.

Yes..any person who thinks they are having a heart attack should get medical attention quickly. The most likely cause of the symptoms would be a panic or anxiety attack. Those are dreadful and treatable. The heart should be ruled out first....not by a doctor saying 19 is too young and not checking to be sure. If that happens get checked somewhere else with a better doctor who does some tests to rule it out for sure.

Yes. It's veyr possible, I've even heard of 15 year olds having heart attacks. A premature heart attack can be brought on by a lot of things:
-High Clohestrol
-Streess
-Blood to thick (they have medicine for it though, blood thinner)
-Obesity
-Alergic reactions to medicines

Heart disease may be congenital or acquired. A girl with congenital disease could not be survived upto this age. The probable cause is rhumatic fever. If rhumatic fever is not properly treated, heart valves will be damaged. She will have symptoms of heart disease. Long term penicillin treatment is necessary to treat rhumatic fever. I have also seen young boys having congestive heart disease with swelling all over the body.
