i would like to find an outdoor place for an engagement party in long island (party will most liklely be in aug) i have been looking online for places, haven't found anything!!! Please help!!!

Contact the Chamber of Commerce or Restaurant Association in the area. They should be able to give you a list of places. Or contact a local caterer to see if they know of any areas.

The only answer I can think of is:
How about going to the Nautica Mile in Freeport. Maybe you can have it on a boat or in one of the restaurants.
