My Mom was a diabetic. when it came to fruits she ate any fresh fruit we had, but she was careful about the amount. She would have one fruit at a time, such as one banana or one orange. When it came to smaller fruits she would eat 1/2 cup or so and the same was true when she ate large fruits such as honey dew or watermelon. She was careful of starches as well because they can raise blood sugar levels too. Please be careful, check you blood for sugar as often as you can, also watch for damage to other organs ,eyes, kidneys, liver, and darkening of your legs can happen if your blood sugar stays high an extended period. Much Good Luck to you
