Do you think there will come a day when pretty much everyone has some form of STD or another? Will it one day be unusual to be "clean?" Can you see people being divided into sort of 'clans', AIDS group here, herpes group there, etc. How do you feel about this? Why do you suppose STD's are so out of control?

Good answers, keep them coming! *I meant clans as in, people separating themselves into individualistic groups according to infection.*

I feel the reason that STD's are so out of control is because many people are not taking the precautions they should. And also many feel that because someone "looks" clean then they must be.

Not true.

Education is the key to staying healthy and alive, we all love sex, but we must also "educate" ourselves - don't go in totally blind so many individuals just charge ahead and never ask questions or use condoms - safe sex isn't on their list.

They don't stop to consider the conquences at all and most feel like "oh it won't happen to me - I'm too careful - I only sleep with someone who I know."

It doesn't matter. If your serious then both of you should go to a doctor have tests done.

No I can't see people being divided into special groups, nor do I feel at some point that everyone will become infected either - just use common sense and extreme caution - learn about STD's and don't ignore what education there is out there.

Std's are out of control because everyone is so eager to drop their pants. And i don't think that Std's will take over the world or anything like that. I think that people should respect their bodies and realize that there are more important things in life that getting laid. But clans? No, there are still some smart people out there who have never had an std.

Well, it is pretty apparent to me that people would rather have sex for reasons such as -wanting to be "cool', wanting to keep the other person, wanting to keep the other person happy, having no respect for themselves or those they have sex with, personal gratification and an overall lack of concern for anyone else's well being and that sucks!
I don't know about being devided into clans or about going to heaven or hell for being permiscuous, but everyone will pay for any indesdretions they do. The people who knowingly have an STD or AIDS and still have sex without telling the partner have an extra special treat when the times comes! Thats my answer!

Not for me I do not sleep around. I ,do not worry about STD's because I am in my own "clan" so to speak. I hang with clean people, people who don't run around getting hard and spreading their legs. We respect ourselves, so what ever happens outside my "clan" I do not worry about.

No. First of all, viruses like STDs mutate. So AIDS in the future will no longer be AIDS. If you think AIDS not is bad wait till the virus mutates.

people no longer have respect.people do him and do her without a thought.i don't think the human race will be around long enough for everyone to have some form of std.but it could be stopped by useing common sense.or just having respect for yor own body as well as other peoples.

no i dont think think there will be a day where everyone will have an STD. but i do believe the overall morality of the world is plummeting. you will always have those who will save sex for marriage, i do think those are becoming less and less, but never a day where everyone will have one.

If there was some kind of identifying sign, it would be a relief for all involved. there would be no more "uh,I have ______" before the first encounter or worse, them just not telling you and hoping they get away with it. Also, it would be nice for the people who share a disease not to have to worry about spreading it.
