I Have A Dinner Party, I Am Using Several Different Patterns Of Linen...Nothing Different Like Different Colors Or Bold Differences....the items are all White linen, but the pattern, the faint roses or scroll work, they are different....will that be a mistake to do? The Linen Is Old And Rare, They Have Only Slightly Different Opaque patterns that are like i said..roses,scroll work, some other flowers....

I've seen table settings done on TV where nothing matches and it can look really neat!
Use your imagination. Be creative. And do not apologize at the dinner party or bring attention to your mis-matched linens. Make your guests assume that you planned it that way! Have fun!

Mixed is the new Matched! Call it eclectic, if you want. Try to mix them up so that guests sitting by each other don't have the same pattern - that will make it look like it was on purpose! Use a different napkin ring with each one, too. That will bring the mix together.
