a menu with no artachokes...they are so very hard to pair with wine

i would like a few surprise dishes, spicy..not overbearing. fwagra would be nice, also lobster, sea scallops....possibly
i also would like to serve anything with a special theme possibly like a seafood theme, or ocean. or if that is too hard to pair with wine? i am just starting the prep work in my mind so anything will help

you have to know first how many people and what kind of dinner you want to serve, International or traditional.
Could be informal or formal dinner. You need to make sure what kind of food you want. If you want something in special let me know. I can help you with the menu..

if its a big frndz party u can hav d followin menu:
pasta
a few snacks like cutlets sandwitches
and fir food u can have various things:
< some raita
< aloo gobi
< rajma, dal or chane
< baked or mixed vegetable
< paneer and home baked chocolate cake for sweetdish

Fruit Kabobs,stuffed olives,melon balls in watermelon shell
Meat and veggie kabobs on grill or oven,crock pot meatballs in sauce,Ham and cheese trays,bread trays(condiments on side)
Potato salad,pasta salad,fresh veggie trays,jello salads
Cakes,pies,cream puffs

APPETIZER .. SHRIMP COCKTAIL, VEGGIES N DIP, BAKED SLICED BREAD TOPPED W SUNDRIED TOMATOES N MOZZERELLA.
DINNER .... A CHICKEN BREAST OR SLICED FLANK STEAK
SIDE DISH GARLIC PARSLEY MASH POTATOES, STEAMED ASPARAGUS, A CLASSIC CESAR SALAD.
DESSERT ... ICE CREAM PIE, OR FRESH FRUIT TOPPED OVER A COOL SORBET FILLED IN A MARGARITA GLASS
