it started to itch on my pubic bone, then it was like a pimple. i popped it and i then noticed at the same time, a sore on my clitoris. it was red, and itchy but very tender. the next day, it became more like three little blisters in one spot. it hasn't spread, but it is still there. this is the third day that i have noticed it.

It could be a sexually transmitted disease (STD) or it could be just a simple thing. The worse thing you can do is worry about it without doing anything. Your local health department will direct you either to a nonprofit organization or a good gynecologist.

Three little blisters hardly can be so easily diagnosed as herpes! Lots of people get irritations in that area and saying you have herpes is not very sound advise! A medical professional would never diagnose until they were sure.

Be leary of what you look up on the internet. I see answers here copied and pasted from medical resourses, and you have to remember #1. all medical resourses online are not reliable...and number #2.. it takes more than that to identify a disease.

See a specialist.

Try not to worry too much, just go get checked out. Only a doc knows for sure what it is. I have done a lot od studying up recently on std's and similar things. Just in my opinion it sounds like it could be hpv, herpes, or just molluscum- which is not serious and will go away. I don't know your story of course but if you have been sexually active you are at greater risk of those spots being stds. Someone commented earlier saying 'nasty, use protection next time.' well that pisses me off because using a condom does not protect you against stds- trust me i found that out the hard way. its surprising how ignorant and judgemental people can be. anyway just go see a gyno- tell him/her you want to be tested for all std's and get a pap. The sooner the better! Don't worry too much until you know what it is. I wish you the best.

That sounds like herpes. Call your doctor to make an appointment immediately. Don't feel ashamed, it's not your fault. The doctor should give you some medication, Valtrex. You are to take this once a day for 10 days. But don't just listen to me call your doctor to confirm what I just said. Don't worry that your life is over. 1 in 5 people have herpes so its not like it's going to be hard to go on with your social life. Just be more careful next time it could have been the OTHER one that you have. Thanks for listening and good luck!

Some people are so mean they just dont understand bad things happen to the best of us and i see that you are asking other people becauce u are a lilttle scared to go to the doctor. but really they are the only ones who can help. but it is not bad to ask other people. So your best bet would be go to the doctor sonetimes things like this are not your fault other times they are and you only know.

Always start with a topic ou know the other person is interested in and knows a lot about. This way you start off and the other person to your surprise will take over the conversation.

It sounds like you have Herpes. Trust me I know I have Herpes. I was terrified, but I went to the doctor and thought that everyone would think bad of me but they were really polite and took great care of me. You don't have to be ashamed because all it takes is to sleep with one wrong person.
