Which team do u support and which team(s) are your eternal rival? National / Club?
Do u hate them? Or do u think that football is more enjoyable by competing against them?

I m a Galatasaray fan and Fenerbahçe is our eternal rival. I hate them but also I can not think football without them!!!

We will play against Fenerbahçe next sunday. It will be hard for us to win in their home, I hope we win.

It's a strategy used by Real Madrid in Florentino Pérez years.
I read some information on wikipedia, but I don't seem to get it. I would also want to know the specific meaning of "Zidanes"

As the England football team continues to stumble just as it appears everything to be looking up, I can't help wondering whether national teams should be given more games and time together. Maybe club football could be reduced somewhat so that we have smaller leagues or fewer European club games. Maybe a European national team league could be introduced and clubs and national teams play every other week in their respective leagues, i.e. Sat 1st: club league, Sat 8th: national team league, Sat 15th: club league, etc. Or maybe football could introduce a rugby-style set-up whereby clubs and countries play games simultaneously and clubs are forced to release players to countries on these occasions.
At the end of the day, when a national team only has ten games a year in a non-championship year, then how is it supposed to gel and form a great understanding amongst its players?

Who gives a flying funk about the League Cups in our respective countries?

Scotland doesn't get a Uefa place for winning the CIS Cup anymore, england could transfer their Carling Cup Uefa place to the EPL and reward the 7th (?) place team on a consistent season rather than the lucky team who beats Man Utd reserves/lucky lower league opposition.

So the format:

Domestic until 2 teams from each country are left, then have two eg British semi finals and a one leg final. Rotate the final venue between england and Scotland on an annual basis.

Just an idea, might be a bit of fun and might make for a bit more competition.
