Things like: "There are three rings involved in marriage. The engagement ring, the wedding ring, and the suffer-ring." Or referring to a wife as a "ball and chain" or telling a groom on his way to the church, "You know, it's not too late to back out." And the whole concept of the bachelor party being a man's "last night of freedom." When a man finds these things consistently funny, do you think there's a part of him that fears commitment or doesn't want marriage?
By the way, in case anyone thinks this applies to my fiancé, it doesn't. I've seen it in past relationships, but not in this one, and I'm trying to see if there's a connection here.
