I hear people praying for the dead and I just think, what a waste. Those prayers aren't going to do any good since those people are dead. They are buried and their actions were all remembered by God and they are asleep in the dust until their resurrection at the end of the age. Praying for them will not change God's mind where their destiny lies. Prayer needs to be for the living. Oh and by the way, to those people who pray to the saints - you need to stop because you are sinning in a major way. Read Deuteronomy 18:11 - God specifically says not to call on the dead. I guess the Catholic church is primarily to blame for all this ignorance and stupidity but other churches promote it to. Ridiculous isn't it?

A knock at the door ... you peek thru the blinds & see a policeman holding some papers...what do you do now?

A police car just pulled up to my next-door neighbor's house, and the policeman knocked and knocked, but nobody answered the door.
I know for a fact that the wife is at home...wonder why she didn't answer..........hmmm.....

So why is it that...?

....my ex calls and texts me the more I ignore him? And he says to me he wishes I would just respond every once and a while. But then when I call and text him he does the same thing to me?? I feel like we're 12 years old doing this game.
