so my friends and i were at walmart buying movies and some other random stuff. we are all at least twenty, and we look it. so we got up to the checkout counter and got carded for wanting to buy pg 13 movies! like, the computer wanted us to be at least 17 to buy them! it was so lame....all three of us had to get out our ids and prove we were over 17.
we've also been carded for superglue (i was just using it to fix my purse), canned air (for cleaning the keyboard), a cd i know for a fact has only one swear word on it, and no other bad content (even my mother doesnt get why we got carded for that one)
like, i know there are kids out there getting high off of superglue and crap, but honestly, i look like im over 18 (how old you have to be to purchase it now), did i really have to get carded? and since when do you have to be 17 to buy pg 13 movies? when did the rules get so stupidly strict? i know they want to keep us safe but its getting rediculous...your thoughts?
