i think the only reason why women should be the head of the household is because they are better in controlling money...but i believe in both should take part in making household decisions

I don't think there should be a head of household at all. Dominance in a relationship never ends well. If you're referring to single women, then why shouldn't they be?

Only on the reality show "Big Brother". Otherwise, there ordinarily shouldn't be a "head" of the household (presuming that there's more than one adult).
Of course, in the case of a single parent or something of that nature she might be forced to be in that position.

Well, yes, just look at what a man running America has done. If a woman were running the place things would be a lot different. Same with a household, a woman just does it better.

If the husband leaves and she is has no other choice, DUH! And if the husband can't take charge and be the head of a household, then of course. Someone has to wear the pants in the family.
