I'd Send 5,000 to rebuild Katrina .
3,000 to the UN (refugee aid)
and 2,000 to my local Volunteer Cat Shelter.(C.A.T.A.L.E.S.)

and just to set the record straight,ahead of time....

I got groceries, I hate grocery shopping...It's always so damn packed on the weekends...You run into all kinds of wierdos or people you know..same difference...........

Like...

People suffering in Africa because of AIDS, no money to feed their family so sometimes have to starve, or being forced to fight at the age of 8.

Or people in China where you can only have 2 kids per family and more then that, then you might have to sell some.
(can you imagine that, selling your sister or brother?)
And men are looked upon as greater than women.

In other countries, kids can't have an education, they have to stay home and help their parents work, or just don't have the money to go.

Have you ever thought of that?

I look around and people around here don't realize how good they have it. They worry about material items and if they should ask out that boy/girl. Education isn't that important to them and all they care about is looking "cool"

So next time when you think your life sucks, then think again...
You're pretty lucky. Be grateful!

Do you ever think about stuff like this?

Discovered in our local river were TRUCK LOADS of USED syringes from hospitals!!! I went canoeing about 3 weeks ago and cut my foot in the water about a mile away from where they were found.
I don't have insurance to go to the doctor. Should I be worried?
