Ahem... People outside of Co. Durham won't know
(because the news only cares about what happens in London, home to 7 mil people, not the 53mil all over the UK)
, but here we had TORRENTIAL downpours of rain, hail thunder, lightening on tuesday.
So much so that we had no electric on Tuesday for 2 hours, and on Wednesday for 1 hour.
Anywho, school flooded and they closed yesterday (YAY!) because one block is under water, and the water came back up through the loo's in the main building (like 50 water fountains).
Yay!

Was this mean?

A few years ago, I was out shopping with my mother. At the time I was 8.5 months pregnant. While going up and down the isles, there were two very young guys, I'm guesssing around 14 years old. They were debating which condoms to buy and reading them all, looking around, trying to figure out which ones to get. I walked up behind them (huge pregnant) and said, "oh, those things just don't work", and they ran out of the isle. I scared the crap out of them. Ok, I have a wierd sense of humor. My mother, even years later, still tells me that was a mean thing to do. I thought it was funny. What do you think? Help me end the long debate over this one.
