is that not a little hypocritical?

Why would you want to say your vows infront of god when you dont' believe there is one there,

And why do people still swear on the bible in court, surely that is a bit out of date, most people don't believe so wouldn;t care less about swearing on the bible?

To me and my friends, surviving is our biggest concern. We've been targeted by scary people so many times. Just the other day when my friends were waiting for their parents to pick them up from my apartment, some creepy grown man stood nearby and stared at us. We had to stay by the apartment security just in case something might have happened. As soon as their parents came by to pick them up, I had to sprint down to the apartment basement and hide behind the cars until the guy stopped following me.
And this wasn't half as bad as all our past incidents. For some reason, the men in our city only target me and my group of friends. For example, a few monthes ago some guy in a subway had a problem with us, and attacked one of my friends.
We don't trust to police anymore because they dropped each and every one of our incidents because they couldn't find the suspects. We can't tell our parents, because they either don't listen, or they'd ban us from ever leaving the house.

I don't quite understand "I could care less".
If you could care LESS....then you care SOME and you could be less interested.
