Scientology is a cult, and its founder L. Ron Hubbard was a crappy pulp science fiction writer and diagnosed schizophrenic, who put a bunch of mumbo-jumbo together to start a pseudo-religion. Anybody who falls for Scientology's outer-space-alien nonsense has some screws loose, and probably needs a good psychiatrist.

And yet the rich and famous seem to believe in it, why?

It's a half moon. Do you notice the dark spot in the middle? It kind of looks like an eye. The sky is a really dark dark blue, almost black. Oh btw, Im in NY. :)
