For many years, everytime I had a basketball in my hand, whether I was in a gym or on a playground court, or in a driveway at someone's home hoop, I would attempt to drop- kick the basketball into the net for two points. I tried it from different points on the court. I never made it. One day I was in a gym ( I used to run a youth program) with the kids and tried it and MADE IT! Then I pushed my luck and tried it again and MADE IT AGAIN! Back to back two pointers from drop kicks after all those years of missing. What are the odds?
