I used to know people who were so shallow that they actually went low enough to make fun of me for not dressing the way they did (as they wore brand names, and I don't because I can't afford to do so.)

What exactly is a park? The first thing that comes to mind is a playground.

Yosemite is also a park. I think a park is a public recreational area. Private park is an oxymoron. Your backyard is a recreational area, but it's not a park.

A park can be privately owned, but it has to be open to the public. An amusement park is usually privately owned, but open to the public.
