my tv my remote they no better to touch my remote

Actually, we rarely fight over the remote. In fact, my daughter jokingly calls me the king of the remote. We usually try to compromise on what we watch. Or in other words, we're doing a pretty good job of getting her to like the shows that we watch.
For example, Michelle is 9 and we have her hooked on the original Star Trek. We even have her watching programs on the National Geographic Channel like the Dog Whisperer.

I got two t.v.'s with satalites. One in the kids room and one in the living room. I still don't get to watch them. I download alot. Thank heaven's for my computer. Luckily my boys and I do agree on some things. We love Trick my Truck. Fast and the furious movies. My oldest son does keep me up on good movies on the Hallmark channel. You would get along with my oldest he loves Hogan Knows Best. I don't.

We don't have too much of a problem in this area as I am not too much of a television person, BUT when I do have a program that I want to watch and my boys want to watch something else, I tell them to go use their own televisions in their rooms. They aren't normally happy about that but they have no choice in the matter.

No.... if they dare to fight with me over the remote, they would end up at least 4 months with no internet, no tv, no video games, can't go out, no musics, no driving (if they know how to drive)... etc.

My mom has to fight with my brother. She wants to watch the news and all he wants to watch is the sports channel

My kids turn it on the station they want, then they hide the remote, and act like they never had it.

WHY THE 'ELL U FIGHTIN WITH YOUR KIDS??
KEEL THEM AND TAKE CONTROL OF THE ENTIRE HOUSE!
It sickens me to read about all of you who take the path of least resistance! Kids are meant to be raised to 18 and BOOTED to make a life of their own. Why you keep hangin on? They will NEVER leave if you give them everything!

they don't get to watch TV during the week so it's not an issue
