One year, for Mother's Day, a good friend of the family took my family out to celebrate the special day at the most fanciest and expensive restaurant in the city. He, the family friend, had reservations for us he placed ahead of time. Although, when we got there in the early afternoon, we had to wait there for literally many many hours, until it was close to being the late evening. They apologized for the very long delay because they claim to be so very busy and finally sat us when most of the restaurant was empty. It must have been about a little more than an hour before the restaurant closed and we had though several times of just getting up and walking up, but it was a special day for my mother. All other places would have been full and we did not expect to wait so very and ridiculously long at this restaurant. Anyways, when one person of our (small) group ordered a steak, they had said they ran out of it about an hour ago. So, he had to order something else.
