I have just borrowed a guitar from a uncle and want to start learning how to play. Where should I start? I know the g chord and the c chord....but thats it. Is there any books you would recommend to a beginning guitarist? Or a site that has some helpful information? Thanks in advance!

I mean..look! how many good different types of music was cool. U had country(which I dont like much) doing good with Garth.. Clint Black..U had LL Cool J and NWA giving us rap...U had New Wave...Like Modern Englis..Punk like Clash..rock Van Halen..Metal..Priest...hair bands like Poison..Underground at the time..Metallica...Chili Peppers...even the God/Demonic bands had some good stuff..Slayer/Pantera...vs a weak but decent Stryper...I mean..we all could enjoy a ton...Pop like Duran Duran..I love the 80s:)!

I was born in ALABAMA, joined the FAMILY GOSPEL RADIO SHOW in BIRMINGHAM, broadcast 6 days a week during the early 50's,
3 years later found myself in CHICAGO working as a WELDER,managed a COUNTRY MUSIC NIGHT CLUB..moved to CALIFORNIA ..1960, teamed up with MY BROTHER and formed a BLUEGRASS BAND..1966 recorded a EDDIE RABBITT composition..things were TUFF and TIGHT, moved my wife and 2 kids to ATLANTA..selling GLASSWARE DOOR TO DOOR until GARY S. PAXTON, my earlier PRODUCER , ask me to make a fresh new start, this time in NASHVILLE..since then, it seemed everything i TOUCHED WENT GOLD..still ALIVE
and WELL, inspite of a LIFE THREATNING illness a few years back... living in NASHVILLE.
