I posted yesterday a question on Yahoo Answers but no one said they had heard the track I was referring to. So I decided i'd upload a clip of it. It's from Willie Nelson's album "Yesterday's Wine".

Here is the url:
http://home.comcast.net/~inspiration100/Willie%20Nelson%20-%20question.wav

Can someone try to explain what the heck this is talking about? I am trying to figure out if this is talking about Christ or some other religion? Was Willie on weed when he wrote this?

What does he mean "under the same sign twice" and "I have been selected as the most likely candidate"?

Thank (for a second time!)

Willie Nelson's album "Yesterday's Wine" starts off with willie saying this...

"You do know why you're here?"

"Yes. There's great confusion on earth, and the Power that is has concluded the following: Perfect man has visited earth already, and his voice was heard. The voice of imperfect man must now be made manifest, and I have been selected as the most likely candidate."

"The time is april, therefore you, a taurus, must go. to be born under the same sign twice adds strength. this strength, combined with wisdom and love, is the key."

Can someone try to explain what the heck this is talking about? I am trying to figure out if this is talking about Christ or some other religion? Was Willie on weed when he wrote this?

What does he mean "under the same sign twice" and "I have been selected as the most likely candidate"?

Thanks!

Its Called International Harvester...

You can see and hear it here:
http://youtube.com/watch?v=antUcw20V1w

International Harvester-Craig Morgan

I’m the son of a 3rd generation farmer
I’ve been married 10 years to the farmer’s daughter
I’m a God fearin’ hard workin’ combine driver
Hoggin’ up the road on my p-p-p-p-plower
Chug a lug a luggin’ 5 miles an hour
On my International Harvester

Three miles of cars layin’ on their horns
Fallin’ on deaf ears of corn
Lined up behind me like a big parade
Of late to work road raged jerks
Shoutin’ obscene words flippin’ me the bird

Well you may be on a state paved road
But that blacktop runs through my payload
Excuse me for tryin’ to do my job
But this year ain’t been no bumper crop
If you don’t like the way I’m a drivin’
Get back on the interstate
Otherwise sit tight and be nice
And quit yer honkin’ at me that way

Chorus:
Cause I’m a son of a 3rd generation farmer
I’ve been married 10 years to a farmer’s daughter
I got 2 boys in the county 4-H
I’m a lifetime sponsor of the F.F.A.
Hay! That’s what I make
I make a lotta hay for a little pay
But I’m proud to say
I’m a God fearin’ hard workin’ combine driver
Hoggin’ up the road on my a p-p-p-plower
Chug a lug a lugin’ 5 miles an hour
On my International Harvester

Well I know you got your own deadlines
But cussin’ me ain’t savin’ no time hoss
This big-wheeled wide load ain’t goin’ any faster
So just smile and wave and tip your hat
To the man up on the tractor

Chorus:
Cause I’m a son of a 3rd generation farmer
I’ve been married 10 years to a farmer’s daughter
I got two boys in the county 4-H
I’m a lifetime sponsor of the F.F.A.
Hay! That’s what I make
I make a lot of hay for a little pay
But I’m proud to say
I’m a God fearin’ hard workin’ combine driver
Hoggin’ up the road on my p-p-p-plower
Chug a lug a lugin’ 5 miles an hour
On my International Harvester

On both of these CD's is a rare song that Red Sovine recorded that he did not record on any other LP or CD. I have researched and found that the only TWO albums he recorded this song was on the two CD's I listed in my question.

The particular "Giddy Up GO" CD I am looking for is the one with the little boy on the cover with Red. The other CD of Giddy Up Go does NOT include the song I am looking for. To clarify for those who are lost already....red Sovine recorded two Giddy Up Go Albums. The second one was recorded in 1966 and includes the song " I Think I Can Sleep Tonight". This is the song I am looking for. If anyone knows how I can purchase or find the CD with this song please email me. Ebay does NOT have it as I have researched the whole site. I have exhausted all my research on goog;le and yahoo. If anyone owns a copy or knows how I can purchase this, please email me. I am looking for it as a gift for someone who is a huge Red Sovine fan. ball92_27262@yahoo.com
