Internet - November 2006

An IT guy did a simple test that displayed the yahoo DSL download speed to my PC after adding 512mb ram .I forgot how he did it and how fast it was(but was told it was an acceptable rate).I just upgaded my internet speed from express to pro and want to do a check before and after it goes into effect.

i know how to add but it say your picture is too large.

To send / receive I'm asked for my username and password which I've checked are correct loads of times! It comes up with a box not allowing me to continue and says :
Visit mail.yahoo.com a/c psl, pop3 server: 'mail.btinternet.com' error no. Ox800ccc92. Does anyone know what this means and how I can resolve problem?

i mean when i click on 'history' and go to the history column(on left side of page)click on 'search'(IE page>history>search) and type a letter, im given a list of the pages i visited and i m not able to delete this no matter wt. i tried clicking on clear history in internet options....but no luck! pl help!

I have a webcam that I want to monitor for home security and I have a Roadrunner Homepage set up. I am able to do this through a Webcam site now, but if my computer isn't on, it defaults to a general Webcast site with porn and other weird stuff. Anybody have any luck broadcasting to a Roadrunner homepage with a Webcam?

Is there a way to stay logged on and lock your computer to prevent people from touching what you had. I want to keep my screen name on and my minimized websites on without logging off. I hit "alt control delete" but the only thing i see is "standby", is there a way to just have a password thing or something on there while i stay logged on. Also when i log back on everything is still on , such as my aol aim and websites??
