Hi guys, I recently went on a leather purchasing frenzy on ebay and now own a brand new leather tote (RRP$189) and a pair of vintage leather boots.

I've never had any leather products before, so was quite surprised when I did a google search and suddenly there seems like heaps I need to do to care for them.

Is that really neccessary? If so, what should I do to upkeep my purchases (I need solutions that are cheap and convenient)? If I did nothing and just used them like I would any other accessory, what could happen to them?

I just read that leather can't be wet! So what happens if I get caught in the rain one day (which is bound to happen eventually)? Seems silly to pay so much for shoes that can't get wet wherelse water just slides off cheaper materials.

Also, (sorry, I know I'm asking heaps but I just saved up for quite a while to buy these) I was under the (naive?) impression that leather lasts forever. Is that right? Or can leather tear just like any other material?

I'm a guy, but I buy Allure, Marie Claire, Redbook, and other women's fashion magazines, but for scanning the pics inside. What can i say? I'm a heterosexual male who loves women. Do you think there's anything wrong with it? I know the cashier at a store will wonder what i'm doing buying such magazines. It's not like it's a porno magazine! I don't read the articles, either! LOL! What do you all think?

I'm going to a wedding this month and I'm trying to figure out what kind of shoes and/or accessories I should get to go with my dress. The dress is a long sheath type with a scoop neck and cap sleeves. It's champagne in color and has a crocheted lace overlay. I appreciate any suggestions you might have!

i'm going to a wedding party of my family's friend daughter tomorrow, it will be a big, fancy party, i'm wondering is it appropriate to wear a white satine long dress?

the dress' design is simple, so it wont scream for attention, but i'm lil worried about the color...coz i think some ppl think wearing white to a wedding is a big no no..

I'm thinking of getting color contacts. I have naturally dark brown eyes (but I am extremely sick of the color-it's so boring) and I was thinking about getting turquoise contacts. I have light brown hair also, and I don't wear much makeup. Do you think that this would look good?
