Ok..since your pear shaped..(fuller on the hips) you want to wear clothes that give the illusion of a well-proportioned body.

Fuller, below-the-knee skirts hide wider hips. Skirts with hemline details or big prints balance your shape. Do not wear high-waisted pencil skirts and opt for A-line styles.

Look for wide-leg pants and avoid cropped pants, which make your legs look shorter. Stick with darker jeans because they make you look smaller while lighter jeans make you look wider.

When looking for tops or sweaters, go with halter styles, which create the illusion of broader shoulders. So do cardigans with horizontal stripes. Stay away from very tight or clingy tops unless you are very fit.

Stick to longer jackets that camouflage the hip area because smaller jackets draw lots of attention to hips and backsides.

If you want to upgrade your style, simply add fresh and colorful accesories to your outfits such as belts, jewlery, sunglasses, and hats. You can also change your style by buying different articles of clothing from a variety of stores to make your wardobe unique and interesting. Also, before you wear two articles of clothing, make sure they match.

try A-line skirts just to the bottom of your knee and add some volume on top by layering t-shirts, light knits and a structured jacket. make sure that the jacket nips in to help give the appearance of an hourglass shape. Don't let the jacket extend past your natural hip or you will be adding attention where you don't want it. Look for pants that are mid-rise with STRAIGHT Legs. This will make your legs look long and slim. If you add a pointy toed shoe, it extends the line of your leg even more!! Most importantly, try to bring color up to your face to bring attention to you. V necks will help with that. As well as using vertical stripes and patterns on top. (but make sure that the pattern doesn't overwhelm you. remember you wear the clothes, the clothes don't wear you.)

A-line and pencil skirts flatter pear shapes. Avoid pleats and bulk around the hips that will make them look bigger.
For a casual look, try an A-line jeans skirt or khaki skirt with a tank-top or polo-shirt and sandals or flip-flops. Very cute!

-Large hips
Dont wear bias cut skirts or dresses that cling, narrow-leg trousers or jeans, flat shoes any kind of cropped top or tapered knee-length skirts.

Dont wear cargo pants or combats with side pockets(make u look even bigger at the hips.), jackets or coats with belts that will flare out over your hips, belts that cinch the waist.

Do wear bootleg or flare cut dark denim stretch for a relaxed line over curves.
Combine with heels, low-slung belts and fine-knit cadigans with just the top button done up.

Do wear close fitting denim skirts below the knee with split, baggy cotton or parachute trousers, and knee length jackets with structured shoulders that will balance outh the heavier bottom half.
** If u want to ( Ive done this for my mom cuz she has the same shape as u) u can take out the pockets in trousers or sew them down to avoid buldge at hips.
Hope this helped!

if you are bigger around your butt, and smaller around the top, you should go for the horizontal striped tops. that should help even you out a bit up top. - but for the bottom, if you have nice legs, show them off. get skirts that are at least vertically 1' long.
never buy jeans that are too tight,....they squish your butt, and make it look even worse...good luck...
oh,... also, trench jackets are great to hide any unwanted side problems.
they are slimming and always in style
