Sure there is evolution all the time in all living organisms, there are multiplication of species and the creation of new organisms all the time. But when it comes to Biogeneses, (or the beginnings of life) I believe God had something to do with that

Well because the Bible says that God created man, not some speck that floated in from outer space, and not evolved from a animal such as a ape or monkey. If you do your research you will find that even Darwin admitted himself that he was wrong when it came to Creation. He actually ask for forgiveness and was saved by the Grace of God right before he died. Oh, I think some things do evolve but not humans. And I believe that the Universe was Created by God, and everything in it. I don't think it happened just by chance. I believe it was planned by God, and carried out by God. Thats why I dont believe in Darwins Theory and neither did he.

Like the first poster said it goes against the literal translations but very few christian actually practice what the bible strictly teaches.

Typically most modern Christians goes with the idea that some parts of the bible are actually allegory. Along the allegoric lines evolution isn't contradicted since we have no idea what a day in the life of god is really like and evolution is just god taking his time modeling the clay to make us. And just like any potter know a clay vase takes many shapes until it reaches it final form.

I will say this,... we don't know how long the "Days" were that it took to create the Earth.
Time to God means nothing, but we have to have a measure of time to understand things.

I would like to tell you about the people on this earth that did evolve but Yahoo would not allow it. They have the highest crime rate. They are extremely violent. They have the highest drug use. They are the most dependent on the government. When they reach the majority they will kill off every other race. Make your guess.

I now believe in evolution also. But not that everything evolved by chance but that the God Yahweh was in total control of it since the beginning.

Sure it is possible, and to degrees, happens all the time.

Plenty of mystery when considering Genesis and the world we live in.

Read Genesis... God created humans, He did not create fish or apes or primordial soup that EVOLVED into humans... of course, He also created fish and apes, but they are still fish and apes to this day, and have not evolved into humans. If you read Genesis you will also find that God saw that all of his creations were "good", except humans, who He saw were "VERY good", because we were created in His image.
