not very pretty much any sports sedan now is about the same speed if you look around and the camaros last gen has slightly higher horse power n torque, not good to be a generation or two behind in power

The 05 and newer mustang gt will run a 13.5 1/4 mile and tops out at an electronically limited 149mph. It would have a slightly faster top speed if it was not limited, maybe 160mph. The 96-04 gt mustangs run around a 14.0 1/4 mile. The 88-95 gt mustangs run anywhere between a 14.5-15.0 1/4 mile. As far as the 05 and newer gt mustangs goes, you can not buy a faster car today for the same amount of money or less.

When people talk about how fast a car is, they usually mean its acceleration. Two popular measures of that is the time it takes the car to go 1/4 of a mile (1320 feet) from a standing start, and the time it takes the car to accelerate from 0 mph to 60 mph.
In both categories, the 2005 Mustang GT is pretty good.
Motortrend road tested the 05 GT and measured its quarter mile time to be 13.6 seconds and its 0-60 mph time to be 5.1 seconds.

The 05 Mustang GT is noticeably faster than the 04 GT on account of it's more powerful 3 valve 4.6L. If you 91 GT is stock then it's slower than both the 04 GT and the 05 GT.

They're not that fast but really really powerful, they top out at like 140-150 like most sports cars

Faster than the cheap suspension can handle at the car's top speed. In addition, the engine will overheat if held at the top speed for any length of time. Our friends in Europe will tell you it's continuous top speed that is important.

with the factory cpu and chip the mustang will cut out between 120 and 130 , it has more on the dash but will not do it without mods. hope this helps.

around 300 horse power on the 4.6 liter V8 that was a very good engine from ford

How fast is fast? In 1903 9mph was fast and 12mph was "breakneck" only for those who were purely insane I tell you.

05 will be fastest as it has about 40 more hp. if your 91 is stock you will not be keeping up with either one.
