I really like the picture, however for a wedding picture it would be nice to have your beautiful dress included.

Pic is good..(no red eyes, in focus, distance is great).
what's the dress look like?
But hey, i'm an upcoming bride myself so i'm just into seeing "all" the details anytime i'm looking at wedding related things.
That to me, would be a good pic for the two of YOU to have as you'll always remember what your dress looked like. Not so sure if i'd pass that to others. However to play my own devils advocate, the head shot is probably very acceptable for your mom since she would appreciate any picture of her beautiful daughter and son in law.

I like your picture. But I'm going to be honest I feel like in your smile that you were worried how these pictures are going to come out. Your hubby seems to smile deeper, like there's nothing on his mind. Could be wrong. Good Luck

What do you think of the pic? What does your husband think of it? If you are still so-o-o-o concerned about your mother's opinion, you shouldn't have moved out and left her! Don't let her get you down.
